November 10, 2010. Regional public organization “Human being and Law” congratulates the staff of law-enforcement agencies of Mari El Republic with Day of Russian militia and also with 90 years of anniversary!
On the first day of the work of Place of assistance to people released from places of detention 4 people visited it. We remind you that such a specialized place has been working since November, 1 of 2010 year at public regional organization “Human being and Law”.
November 1, 2010. A cochairman of RPO “Human being and Law” Sergey Poduzov took part in the meeting of teachers of Gymnasium № 4 named after A.S. Pushkin and represented a lecture “Violent treatment for children”.
October 28, 2010. Mari El Republic. A conference “Assistance to people, released from places of detention is a task of the whole society” was organized by RPO “Human being and Law”, Federal Service of Penal Executions of Mari El Republic with support of Administration of Yoshkar-Ola city.
October 22, 2010. Mari El Republic. Today it is the last day of international action Police Stations Visitors Week, organized by independent association of public organizations Altus.
October 18-24, 2010. Police Stations Visitors Week (Police Week) is a unique global event organized by Altus to assess the quality of services delivered in the participating police departments, to identify some of the best practices in use by police, to strengthen the accountability of police to the local citizens whom they serve and to promote human rights standards.

It is evidenced by a memorandum of the Representative of the Russian Federation at the European Court of Human Rights in the case “Rzhavin against Russia”.
